Game Recap

Great game and nice win for the Trojans. Now 10-7 (8-3). 80 minutes of hard work and a few fortunate bounces and deflections gets the team back on the winning track vs a very good RP team. The win (along with other results) but us in place to be possible champs with one OK black game remaining.
Zach Shane scored after a shot from Cam Schultz hit the post with 13:24 left in the first half and fell to him in the middle of an open goal.
After that, the Trojans locked down defensively. Connor Hines made 6 saves in goal on 9 Reeths-Puffer Shots. Shots were 10 to 9. Corner kicks favored RP 10 to 3.
Kaleb Krueger, Cam Schultz and Austin Golden each played 80 minutes of great soccer in the middle of the field.
On SR night we got to welcome back Brendan Kemme from injury. His Sr leadership and play were just what the team needed on the back. Srs: Eli VerMerris, Logan Fielding and Ryan Bytwerk were consistently pushing the RP defense and creating scoring chances. Sr, Jerry Bosse’, and underclassman Carter Golden, Jay Thompson, Cody Mayette, and Bryce LaNore were crucial with all their hard work on the flanks.
