The remarkable journey of the Trojan Boys Track program is our #1 story of 2016-17.

Here are the highlights:

Cameron Oleen sets school record and wins the D2 state championship.

The Trojans win their fifth straight conference championship, and first ever OK Championship, going down to the final event.

This year marked the fourth straight GMAA “city” track championship.  Prior to 2014, Fruitport NEVER won the city in its 29 year history!   What is truly remarkable, is that nearly no one expected that level of success in 2017 due to extraordinary seniors graduating the year before.

Kudos to our entire coach staff:  Chad Brandow, head coach, Randy Johnson distance coach, and Rob Gilson, and Rachel Kent, assistants.
